How the evidence ratings work

  • Strong: Several human studies, including trials or very large cohorts, point the same way.
  • Moderate: Some good human studies, but small, single-lab, or covering only part of the claim.
  • Early: Animal work, observational links or personal experience.

The studies listed were chosen for this app as the closest published research to each claim. They are not the reference list from his book. Each link opens a search for the paper by its title.

Still to confirm

  • He numbers protocols 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 10 out loud. The host calls the focus block number 4, and 7 and 8 are named together as the evening and night protocols. He says nutrition is one of the ten but never gives its number, so No. 9 is the slot left over.
  • Side sleeping, supplements and the walk after meals came up as the host's closing questions. They sit here under the protocol they fit best.
  • The study figures have not all been checked against the papers yet.
